A group of pro-BNP (mgw_©Z) lawyers today assaulted (AvµgY K‡i) a Awami League-backed

Dhaka, claiming (`vwe K‡i) that he chanted
the slogan (†¯øvMvb †`qv) "Joy Bangla".
Witnesses (cÖZ¨ÿ`k©xiv) said at least two pro-BNP lawyers kicked (jvw_ gv‡i) and punched (Nywm gv‡i) Farid on

That day, they also chanted various slogans (Zviv wewfbœ †køvMvb †`q), including (mn) Joy Bangla, demanding (`vwe K‡i) release (gyw³) of Awami League leaders and activists (Kg©x).
